SPAWN COMPENDIUM 1

Hopefully by now everyone has had a chance to sit down and marinate in our episode on the first eighteen issues of Todd McFarlane’s Spawn. True to my word, I kept reading the remaining issues in the first Compendium, which means I’ve now read an astounding fifty issues of this comic. Look at the picture above; this thing is THICC.

You might be thinking, “Surely it calms down a bit and eventually settles into a nice, predictable routine, right?”

Hell no.

If you come along on this journey, here’s a few things you have to look forward to:

• Spawn is mistaken for Santa in a Christmas-themed issue

• Spawn is so incredibly dumb that he goes along with the murderous plan of a guy who is clearly McFarlane's Joker analog

• Spawn is lynched by the KKK—yeah, you read that right; that is a thing that happens in this wild-ass comic
